Community activist and independent recording artist Anthony Antoine shares a collection of blogs intended to not only entertain, but also educate. I am a father, independent recording artist, writer, performer, poet, friend, brother, listener and a talker. I tell my own story best and encourage others to share their story. That's how we learn and grow. In my humble opinion, it's one true beauty of life; us sharing our story.

I did get lucky because I was exposed to another part of the life. It's amazing to me how segregated we are as a community, especially here in ATL. The white "kidz" have a rodeo here that I had no clue about. This guy was sincerely nice, and what I like most about him was that he appeared authentic as I watched him be a cowboy - not just a gay boy dressed in cowboy drag.
He's not my normal cup of tea but he could be my cup of tea if I went on vacation. In this regard, I next to never go on vacation. *wink*
Did I miss something????? How the HELL did you end up at a Rodeo?
The guy isn't my type, but he is handsome.
I also lived in Atlanta, and I didn't know about the rodeo scene. I believe that is something I would love to learn about, especially remembering when I was a child and I wanted to be a cowboy.
Anthony, I agree with the segregation and lack-of-exposure you mention in your comments ssection, which is why I like to surround myself around well-rounded people. Don't knock it until you try it!
